4th Nine Weeks Critical Skills Assessment testing begins Thursday, June 1st. Please make sure students are here in school on time. Students should be in class prior to 7:30, ready to begin testing at 7:45. Testing schedule will be available soon. If further information is needed please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Hiers.
While you are home on Monday, January 9th and Tuesday, January 10th, pick up a good book and read. Sign into your RazKids accounts or TumbleBook and read, read, read! Keep a list of the books you've read and share some of the titles with me when you return to school Wednesday, January 11th.
The PTA be sponsoring a Winter Dance this Friday, December 9th! The dance will be 6:30 - 8:00pm at Kraft Elementary. Any student that wishes to attend the dance will need a signed permission slip from their parent or guardian, as well as $3 to attend. The PTA will be at the school every day this week from 7-7:30am to take money for the dance. Your student may pay at the door but we will need the permission slips in by December 7th. Thank you again for your support and we look forward to seeing everyone on December 9th for the Winter dance!
On Tuesday, November 22nd, the Induction Ceremony of the Student Council Association was held, welcoming 5 inductees. Envy Barrett will represent Kraft Elementary's student body as President and Natalee Harris as Vice President. Kayana Joseph will represent Kraft as Secretary, Jaden Perry, Treasurer and Brehonna Earley, Reporter.

Celebrate Financial Literacy Month with us! November is Financial Literacy Month. Kraft Elementary, in partnership with BayPort Credit Union, are joining forces to host a Family Financial Literacy Night on November 15th at 6:00pm.

Exciting News! BayPort Credit Union and Kraft Elementary School have formed a partnership, which will allow elementary school students to build savings accounts with BayPort Credit Union Here at Kraft.
BayPort Credit Union will be at Kraft for "Savings Day" every 4th Wednesday of each month. Magnets with "Savings Day" dates have been sent home with letters earlier this week. Students are able to open BayPort accounts and make deposits on "Savings Day" and receive goodies.
No initial deposits are required, parents will need to include their student's Social Security number on the application and provide a copy of the parent's valid photo ID. For additional information please contact the main office.

Car Pick Up forms are now available! Child pick-ups in the afternoon require a number card that identifies you with your child. These numbers should be displayed in the window of vehicles that you will be using to pick up your child during dismissal time. Please do not give these numbers to anyone who is not authorized to pick up your child.
