Janet Heller is the new Kraft Elementary assistant principal. She replaces Heidi Brezinski, who will assume the duties of principal at Phillips Elementary School. Mrs. Heller is a native of Denver, Colorado (Go Broncos!) and beginning her 8th year with Hampton City Schools. She loves living in Hampton and tries to get to the beach as often as she can!
Mrs. Heller received her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communications from the University of Northern Colorado. She holds two Master's Degrees, one in Elementary Education from American Intercontinental University and the other in Educational Leadership and Supervision from the University of Phoenix. Mrs. Heller is looking forward to putting that knowledge to work as she become a member of the Kraft family and surrounding community.
Mrs. Heller has two daughters, both graduates of Phoebus High School (Go Phantoms!) as well as a son and daughter that live in Arizona. She has five grandchildren....all boys!....and another one on the way early next year (maybe she'll finally get her granddaughter!)
When she can find spare time, she loves to go fishing with her husband Guy. They also like to travel and try to take the time on weekends to discover the hidden treasures that this wonderful state has to offer.
We welcome Mrs. Heller and her enthusiastic optimism for students.
